Same sorta thing happend to me jus mine didnt snap in halfmine was jus pointin up wards like a tent with bone splinters lol, and it takes longer to heel than the doctors say it took me like 2 months to heel properly.

The bolts u have instead of quick release, on the squer.

ye i love them, it depends how stiff u like the rebound, i have em stiff ands theres not a lot of rebound but theres enough so u dnt break ur wrists like on ridgids.
